The roots of my Zoell(n)er
family are in the New
Marck (Ostbrandenburg), Prussia.
My three times great-grandparents Christian
Friedrich Zoell(n)er and Hanna Luise
Schuck married at September 13, 1822 in the
protestant church of Lossow, county Landsberg/Warthe. They lived in Cocceji.
Great-grandfather Carl Friedrich Robert Zoellner
emigrated to Bender in Bessarabia in the middle of 1800.
In 1903, he and his family became again royal Prussian subjects in
West Prussia.
My father Reinhard Robert Wilhelm Zoellner and my mother Erika (née Rohr), were born there
and lived in
Groß Schoenbrueck, county Graudenz.
At the end of war in January 1945, the residence was given up, and the
family fled along the North German coast
over the
river
Elbe to Ahrensmoor, county Stade.
Since December 1950, we are living in Leverkusen, North
Rhine-Westphalia.
